Uryside school will be open after 7th August 2020 for collection of your uniform orders. If you wish to take advantage of free delivery, please use the 'Collect' option in the checkout. These orders will be kept at our Mintlaw premises and sent out together to arrive at the school on Monday 10th August for collection.
Some customers have reported that they are having difficulties adding items to the shopping basket in our on-line shop.
Although I have not had this confirmed, there would appear to an issue with the Internet Explorer browser on the PC. I have not had any issues of a similar nature reported for other browsers, or on tablets or phones.
Although PomPrint Designs is not actually a retail outlet and therefore does not carry stock to buy 'off the shelf', in some instances we are able to extend services that a shop would normally provide.
Such an instance is in the supply of school uniforms, where we find ourselves in a position to be able to accept returns due to the nature and demand for the product that we have embroidered or printed.
If you have recently (within 2 weeks) taken delivery of an order that you have placed in our on-line shop, and you find that you have ordered the wrong sizes, here is what you need to do:-
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number clearly showing on it and a description of the items that you wish to return.
Upon receipt of an agreement from ourselves, send us the goods in "as-new" condition with a note showing the original order number.
Once the items have been returned and accepted by ourselves, we will refund the value of the goods using the method by which you originally paid for them (Credit card or PayPal)
In order to get replacements of the correct size, you just place the order on line in the same way as you placed the previous order only, this time, stating the correct sizes please.
We would like to thank all the families that have ordered uniforms from us for the new Lochside Academy for their patience as we have tried to keep your orders regularly supplied to eight feeder schools and then, during July, to a new school that has only just opened its doors (and did not until recently have a telephone). This has been a bit of a difficult operation but, with the help of the new team at the school, we have not only managed to supply, but have also set up a temporary 'swap shop' for those early birds who ordered inappropriate sizes. This 'swap shop' has now closed however, and if sizing replacements are still required we have introduced our own system which will not have to involve the school. I will be publishing details of this shortly.
For those of you who, like myself, prefer to leave everything until the last minute, we have now agreed that the final date for guaranteed delivery to the school on 22nd August or before is being set at 2 pm next Tuesday - 14th August. Any orders placed with us after this time may arrive with you after the start of term.
